I don't know what I drew this for other than I felt like it? Either way, more freshness to come--its just slowin me down to scan in loads of sketches. Wait till you all see my finished stuff...ahaha...that is..if I finish them.

Been awhile since I've drawn one of my all time fave characters. Anyway, this one is for all you Ryu die hards. Mr. Alex, I'm talkin to you, and Zot--heal up quick--hope this paintin reminds you to stay strong yea? K, that's about it. More fresh one's comeinatya in the coming weeks! Can't wait for SF 4!

Fresh but Not So Easy

So TIIIIME---has not been friendly to me--and me vice versa. One night I over hustled and the end result became 4 bowls of frosted flakes, watching stormhawks, and catching up on American Idol and TNA. Fun stuff--but not friendly to artists who have deadlines. I barely had time to knock out any fresh sketches so I did this one this morning. Little homage to good ol' castle something skull. Haha. Needs more work tho. Stay inspired everyone!

A WORK IN PROGRESS

So here's an amazing piece of Fan Art illustrated by the one and only Sir Paul Bailey--it was so amazing that I had to ask permission to paint it. With projects piling on with each passing day it was unfortunate to put this one on the back burner. It's about--I'd say only 60% completed because the lighting is way off, it looks a little oversaturated, the warm light is a bit inconsistent and the flesh tone of most of the beatles look---well---sun burned. So maybe 50% done? Anyway, if you are seeing this Sir Paul--your feedback on this piece would be most welcome, at least in terms of the color choices. After all, this is your baby.

FRESH WEEKLY POST!

So here's a FRESH ONE in progress. I think its important for every artist to self study who they are at every point in their lives. Since I'm a character designer--I figure that this would be therapeutic for me to remind me of who I am in case I forget.
