THE WAR IS ON!

So I am getting pretty amped up--I finally (with help from my partner in crime Danny Kim) finally got to post up my first image in the Dominance War IV 2D challenge. For those in the blank---Dominance War is the largest digital arts competition for concept artists and illustrators. The first challenge is to paint a portrait of a war general of any type sporting the Forum logo and colors. It's the biggest online art competition in the world and while I don't know how it will all go down--I gotta say I'm havin fun with this! Onward CG society! Whoops--almost 12. Work tomorrow. G'night everyone!

Furtherous Oddasimous 3

And here is yet another WIP. No, that's not Santa. I'm just not finished yet.

Furtherous Oddasimous 2

I was inspired by the Burton/Selick school of character with this one. More oddities will ensue.

Furtherous Oddasimous

The continued work in prog of a character driven series I've begun. Only now I've given Henry a facelift. See? He's happy now.

Liquified...

Its back to the drawing board for the surrealist piece I was planning. I'm not sure how this came about--wait--no--I am. I caught Coraline and was in the mood to paint something that was very distorted. This may not--but it at least lets me commit to putting something down. The separation of values still need alot of work and it needs more depth so sit tight--I'll be on it like butta...

PS If you haven't caught Coraline in 3D--your missing out on an artistic masterpiece.

Playin Around

Sometimes--every artist has to just cut loose and do something completely far from what he normally does. This is me----color vomiting a "hendrixian" painting with no idea whatsoever what it is or what it is going to be. Colorful though.
