Farmboy
So this piece began from a late night discussion about the new direction happening in Superman continuity, and evolved as a sketch challenge. While this doesn't tie into anything specific, I thought it might be nice to draw him in a way I haven't tried before. Enjoy!

WALL CRAWLER SERIES
So these began as quick sketches and quickly evolved into the wall crawlers series. For spidey I was inspired by the new spidey movie redesign but sorta just drew it from memory. And yes--he is not wearing a mask...maybe he's crawling around for it. As for Venom--well---he came from a weekly sketch challenge and just kept crawlin on from there. ENJOY!

SPLAT!
So this past weekend, I jammed with my homey ryan on the cintiq for the very first time. THE FIRST TIME! It was incredible! So what began as a test excercise to get familiar with the cintiq ended up with this painting. I dug the look of the splatterhouse dude and just had the itch to get this outta my system. Here's to scratchin that itch!

Fastest
Beefin up the ol' portfolio some more. Believe it or not this sketch is like 2 yrs old. I liked the gesture enough to keep it going. I paint too much Marvel shtiz with Batman being the only exception. With that said--here is a piece I call "Fastest". Cheers

Rogue Against the Machine
The cloudy weekend continues, as does my compulsive need to actually work on some paintings I never got around to working on. This is still a work in progress but its almost there and for once its not just a character against a gray background. Yay!
