ONE OF MIND

So this began as another painter excercise then taken to Photoshop. At this point, experimentation is everything. I don't know what it is but something about painting Street Fighter characters---escpeially Ryu comes subconsciously. Hmm. Anyway.....there it is.

ENIGMA

So this began as an excercise to get reacquainted with Corel, but inevitably it went to Photoshop. Not sure who this stranger is, but I needed to paint somethin. We'll see where it goes. I may need to toil with the lighting some more....

BANG?

The only thing I've painted for the meanwhile...and its still a work in progress. Call it fanboy excitement for Deadpool finally makin it on the big screen. Then again--he's not wearing his trademark outfit is he? Maybe that's why I decided to paint this. Bang BANG!

Deadpool is copyright Marvel comics.

IT's BEEN SO LONGLY

Where do you begin after so much time has passed? What can I say--the life of an artist can't always be glued to his computer. After working on Ghostbusters, Batman, and Mickey--one tends to satisfy one's artistic fanboy craving. Nevertheless--something must be said about our need (dare I say--addiction--to conceptualize our own ideas and establish our own styles)---with that said---here's one of my many initial sketches for DW4. Time is short--so regardless of what happens I will keep going once I've gotten a feel for a certain character. In the meantime---I hope everyone is doin well and painting/drawing/ up a storm. Bring the rain (not literally)!

Sketched Out sketches

From Bottom to Top Order: Beowulf, Grendel, Viking Bodyguard, Mud Monster, Goblins, Shaman, Viking Witch, Viking King.

Here's my initial first pass at these characters to start a visual dialogue. This was pretty fun. Alright--back to the drawing board!

Big Cat

After watching Hulk vs Wolverine--I got the itch to paint ol' sabre tooth here and here is where he's at so far until I jump on to something else.

STREET FIGHTER-ING..

I started this for no other reason than Street Fighter 4 kicks major arse and I had to paint this up right quick. I think I'll keep workin on it on the side. Stay inspired peeps!
